A few years ago I picked up a handful of $3 mirrors from Ikea that have been used as decoration in various rooms.  It has been my goal to add more color throughout the house, so these dull brown mirrors needed a makeover, or they were going to be tossed.  I thought why not use washi tape to brighten them up?  After applying the first strip of tape, I realized it did not show up well on the brown mirror – easy fix, spray paint the mirrors white.

After I covered the mirror portion with blue painters tape, I sprayed each mirror down with a couple coats of flat white spray paint.  Once they dried, the washi tape fun began!
